To help our global expansion, we have grown our leadership team even further, and I am delighted to share their roles and how they’ll help us drive the global AIOps industry for the better.
Amer Deeba joins as Chief Operating Officer
Amer brings an extensive background in many important aspects of business that include marketing, business development, strategic alliances, and global accounts. In his 17-year tenure at Qualys, he played a pivotal role in building the business into a cyber security leader. His expertise in go-to-market strategies will assist Moogsoft to expand capabilities in new regions across the globe and new industry segments.
Raman Kapur joins as Chief Financial Officer
Formerly VP of Finance at Splunk, Raman has experience working for some of the largest and most respected brands in the technology space, including Yahoo! and Intuit. At Splunk, Raman played a key role in growing the business from $30 million to $1.5 billion. Those are no small numbers, and we look forward to leveraging his strategic insights in scaling our business.
Amer and Raman join Moogsoft at a critical time. The AIOps industry is buzzing with innovative platforms and strategies, and this technology is showing up more and more as companies adopt AIOps solutions to enable their digital transformation efforts. In fact, Gartner predicts that, by next year alone, 25 percent of global enterprises will implement an AIOps platform that supports two or more major IT operations functions.

Earlier this year, we brought onboard Ranvir Wadera as SVP of Engineering (formerly with Splunk) and Will Cappelli as CTO EMEA and Global VP of Product Strategy from Gartner, where he was a leading AIOps analyst.
We’re charging forward and showing a steady line of successes this year in addition to growing our leadership team. We secured $40 million in a Series D funding, achieved the Amazon Web Services Cloud Management Tools Competency, and was named Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces.
Additionally, we recently announced our newest product, Moogsoft Observe™, at our second annual AIOps Symposium in San Francisco. Quite frankly there is no technology like Observe in its capability to detect IT problems at the source and remove the cumbersome, costly reliance on data lakes.
But when all is said and done, Moogsoft is more than an IT company with a cow in our logo — we’re a family, or rather, a herd of whip-smart and passionate technologists working to make our world a better place. When I think about the top industry leaders in their field, Amer and Raman, along with many others on our team, all come to mind. I’m confident that we have an even stronger team that will propel us to the next level.
